For many years Bralorne sat on the brink of been abandoned and forgotten. Empty buildings bare and open to all who want to strip or damage them. Lately, interest has been renewed in the area, and people are returning using some of the old buildings as recreation properties. Old mining houses and brightly painted renovated homes. give Bralorne it's own country atmosphere .
Bralorne Gold Mines is developing the unexplored gaps between the historic Bralorne, King and Pioneer gold mines of southwest British Columbia. Together, these three historic mines represent the largest historic gold producer in the Canadian Cordillera producing 4.1 million ounces of gold.
There is plenty outdoor recreation around the Bralorne . During the winter there is snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, backcountry skiing and ice-fishing. Activities in the summer range from exploring or searching the abandoned towns of Bradian, Brexton or Ogden, discovering new trails by using quads, hiking on mountain meadows vibrant with wildflowers and wildlife.or like the Mountain bikers exploring the countryside. Campers experience great adventures with nature by simply visiting the area.
